Meet Hawk the Shepherd mix (READY TO ADOPT AFTER 2/23)

Hawk is a 65-lb, 9-month-old male puppy (DOB: 05/08/2025) who is playful, curious, and bursting with energy. He absolutely loves racing and wrestling with other dogs, grabbing toys and taking off while his buddies chase him. Outdoor playtime is his favorite, especially when it includes splashing around in a pool of water. And when playtime winds down, Hawk is all about belly rubs.

Hawk is crate trained and continues to work on his house training. He is still learning leash manners and does best walking with a halter, which helps him feel more comfortable and confident. While he hasn’t been formally introduced to cats, he does not show aggression when he sees one.

Overall, Hawk is a big bundle of joy who thrives on interaction and play. He’s ready to share his enthusiasm, affection, and goofy spirit with a family who will engage with him, continue his training, and enjoy an active, fun-loving companion.
